| SuperBrokers
began in 1992 as a reseller of used boats in Traverse City, Michigan. As
demand in the local area rose, we realized there was a strong market for
quality fresh water used boats, not only in Traverse City, but also across
the Great Lakes region. To increase our supply of clean, fairly priced used boats and yachts, we started co-brokering with other brokers in the Great Lakes. As time wore on, SuperBrokers realized networking was the way to go, and the SuperBrokers network of brokers began. This then became our brokerage network of supply and demand. If one of the offices didn't have a particular boat, they could rely on other brokers in the network to help locate it. More often than not, the boat in question was easily found at another SuperBrokers office without having to go outside of the network. In 1994, SuperBrokers started to take on a system approach to brokerage and we began to develop services for both the buyer and seller. On the buyer's side of things, we can help find exactly what you are looking for, and at a price that is right. We also realize that sellers want fast results, so we make a commitment to get the deal done for you. Our systems have been standardized throughout the network; all offices throughout the network utilize similar forms, processes, and services. No matter with which office you work, you will receive consistent top-notch service. Our system looks and works a lot like the real estate industry, so if you don't quite understand what we do, think of us as real estate agents for boats ! We want to stress that SuperBrokers is not a brokerage carrying an inventory of boats that we've bought and are trying to sell. The boats we broker are owned by people like you, who are looking to sell their boat before upgrading to a larger craft or who have found another hobby to occupy their time. By operating this way, we reduce our overhead costs, and are able to offer boats at the best possible price. It is our mission to make it easier, more affordable, and more fun to buy or sell a used boat.
